Games not starting after a virus cleanup(Counter Strike, COD Black Ops

After a heavy virus cleanup form my computer ( mostly W32.Sality.af ) the games are not starting.

The process is running background after starting game but no responses(not even a single response).
There is no freezing or halting after game starts. Some other games still work.
I can see process image in taskmgr.exe

    I tried to do:
    Reinstalled games in different location.

Considering these are Steam games try verifying the game cache through Steam.

Process runs in background and after few seconds it closes.
It does not give any error message.

As far as I'm aware you have to activate both of those games on Steam. Did you buy the retail box versions?

Pretty sure counter strike and black ops require you to use steam even the retail ones. I'm thinking these are pirated so I'm not helping. I know for sure counter strike does since its a valve game. Even the old cs 1.6 needs steam, I know this since I own the cs collection on steam.

they were probably cracked games or been modified for that to happen if they were brought maybe the virus has affected more then just the games from not working is anything else not functioning properly
