Nov 5th... CoD Ghosts is out

and you know it... whether you want to hate on it or not!

So anyways... who's got it, who's going to get it and how's the Campaign?

I've got a sneaky feeling my wife was going to buy it me for Christmas but I've sold my Xbox. I don't mind really because I lost interest after MW2 and I'll be stuck on BF4 for a long time.

I sure hope you got that one confused with the BF4 campaign, otherwise, my gaming days are almost over.

Saw that they got a dog now doing the killings??? wth is that all about!

Also, played it at a friend's house for a few short minutes and I am not liking the ergos of the movement and weapons, this is very unlike any of the other MW games... weird.

Still... I will wait as usual for the bargain bin price to get it.

CoD has had it's day, I wish they would be the series to rest. CoD was good up until MW2/Black Ops, and then the series very quickly started to go down hill.

It's like with FIFA, but that's only released every year to update the clubs and players. Imagine playing and still having Torres playing at Liverpool?

yeah fifa isnt the same game every year, dedicated football fans know that its not just to update transfers etc, they change things EVERY year for the last 3-4 fifa's atleast, adding new things, new ball control, new movement, improved ai, improved physics engine, shall i go on?

I was talking about Infinity Wards MW, never liked the Black Ops much. Again, I only played Ghost for a few short minutes but even so, character movement felt strange, not smooth at all, unlike its predecessor... perhaps you can try smoothing it with ingame options but I never had to do this before.

Weapon ergos and movements also felt sluggish? I know for a fact that the guy who bought it is not one of those guys that likes to change settings, he leaves the default settings pretty much std. Perhaps IW is going the way of UBIsoft and is coming out with unfinished and unpolished product, perhaps EA pressured them into coming out with as is... oh well, I guess all good things must come to an end.

Same Call of Duty, different day.

I regrettably bought it a few days ago. There are a lot of issues with the game on PC and they still haven't patched a single one The graphics are mediocre at best and it feels like every other Modern Warfare. The campaign is the same as al Infinity Ward's CoDs and is really predictable. The worst part is I can't play the campaign without it crashing every 20 minutes and the online is laggy and shuttery as hell.

It just goes to prove that big names in gaming are getting lazy and creating crappy console games and doing an even crappier job at porting them to PC. Nobody cares about the PC user in the gaming world, and it is starting to annoy me. My advise to you, don't buy it. If you do, for god sakes buy it for a console. Just wait till your friend gets bored with it in a few weeks and then borrow it off him for the campaign. It is hard to believe that some of my favorites war gems (CoD 1-4) came for the same group.

Hope this helps,

My friend is one of these guys that MUST HAVE to have every thing first, even if he doesn't play it much... I guess having lots of money to burn does that to people.

About the only thing I used to praise IW was that, even if it was a console port, the game was coded right but I guess, like I said before, all good things come to an end... the way the controls felt one was of the things that attracted me the most to the MW CoD games and the reason why I played them to no end... even if they were predictable.

Black Foot Studios (own by one of the original Red Storm Devs) has been trying to launch a good tactical FPS game forever but it appears that, lack of funds will not let us enjoy it.

I refuse to play FPS games on consoles even though I initially played the Original Ghost Recon on an Xbox but once I played it on a PC, I didn't look back, almost to the point that I can not use the controllers any more... getting old is a PITA
