    Next Gen Consoles

Anyone pick up a XboxOne or PS4 on release day?

Curious who may be getting one and which you chose.
With all the hype for both, I'm curious to see how the both do when we get our hands on them.

I got a Ps4 with AC4 and Knack + extra controller. I already have the controller, for whatever reason Amazon shipped it to me last week.

HUGE upgrade from the Dualshock 3, feels alot better too. Unfortunatly it doesn't work very well with the PS3. It does with many games, but only if wired via USB. And its a bit iffy on what does and does not work.

Its works on PC as well, but sadly requires button remapping, where as the Xbox 360 just works.
I think Win 7 maps the buttons as a 360 controller and gets it all wrong. But it does work well.

I'm done with consoles, I'll be sticking to my rig for gaming from now on.

Already pre-ordered day one XB1 from MS store back in June. 2 weeks to go for XB1.

Not just for the gaming, but all the other "Entertainment", HDMI pass through/set-top box, voice control, multitasking value as well.

2 particular titles I'm looking forward to later on in the year are Destiny and Titanfall.
Too bad Elder Scrolls Online is going to be $15 monthly subscription play, as I was looking forward to that one too. Not going to pay that though.

Never been much of a console fan myself but I gotta admit... I am waiting to see what genius ways they will find to stick it to the console crowd, which, in turn will come down to the PC crowd.

hmmm I think i'll go for XBOne but not sometime soon as I want to see people to use it for 6 to 10 months and see if the new consoles aren't just heat boxes and giving some newly colored ROD's after all I heard the some developer said something like "im sorry but the truth is that the upcoming consoles aren't strong enough to deliver same quality as we showed it in last years E3 on last year PC gaming setups to demonstrate up coming nex-gen titles" as well the thing I read on internet that XB One COD Ghosts is natively 720p on it and 1080p on PS4 and XB One will upscale it to 1080p

Also i'm not sure but I seen a lot of videos and articles in past months where some people saying that Microsoft was actually using PC Gaming Rigs on Windows 7 to demonstrate their XB One titles as well as the RAM size in consoles and a lot of things but that's for sure consoles can never compete with Gaming PC's as they going to remain with the same specs for several years to come where the PC's will be gone way ahead of them and on the other hand Microsoft and Sony will be fighting in the ring again and again for the new Nex-Gen consoles... I think this time the Next-Gen word does not actually 100% fits on the new consoles as it was in the past from PS1 to PS2 and XBOX to XBOX 360 which has giant leap in Graphics so it's just like new XB One and PS4 are just updated hardware.. Just my two cents
