Really low fps(12-14) in my alienware laptop

    Need emulator help! Really low fps(12-14)


    Recently, i installed pcsx2-r5761.svn.I copied my dragon ball budokai tenkaichi 3 iso to my laptop(from my DVD) and started playing.But in the game screen,the fps is really low,like 12fps.and the sound is also really slow.My laptop is alienware M11x R2
    HERE ARE MY SYSTEM SPECS:
    #Core i7
    #8gb RAM
    #nvidia gt 335m
    #intel ® hd graphics
    #windows 7-64bit
    Please help!!!!!

    I'm not familiar with that emulator, but the slow sound as well is interesting. Have you checked the emulators settings for speed adjustments?

    yes i followed a youtube tutorial,but that only raised the fps to 16

    Hmm. Your specs should be able to handle it, so it's got to be something to do with the settings.

    As I said I'm not familiar with that emulator so I'm not much help there. And there really aren't to many other good PS emulators.

    I would if I could mate but I don't know anybody around here who specalizes in emulators.

    Maybe ask a mod to change the title to 'Need Emulator help' or something like that to catch more attention.

    You can change the title yourself. Just go into edit, and click on the 'advanced' option on the bottom of the editing box. You'll get a new edit screen with more options and you can edit the topic title there above the main edit box.

    I don't know PS 2 emulators. I have a launch version [the really big one] of the PS 3 so I've never needed one.

    Just a long shot. Are you sure the graphics run off the #nvidia gt 335m and not the Intel on-board graphics. Check in the BIOS.
