I swore I would not buy this game. But, I am holding Doug personally responsible for the fact that it is downloading now. It is totally and completely Doug's fault. Plus, at my download speed, Paul will receive his copy before my download finishes. It better be real good Doug.
Hell by the time you get it Doug will have posted the entire game
Sorry mate, had a little to much BnB (Beer and Battlfield) yesterday
    Nothing wrong with that mate!

    Lol Solar.

Steve, so you gave in then. I feel a little to blame for pointing you towards this thread lol, I hope it is good.
Yes, and I'm mad. I was proud of myself for not buying anything during Black Friday. Then this. As you know, I don't need a sale to buy something, I just do it. But, withstanding Black Friday was a real challange for me. But, alas, I lost again. But, at least it was much, much less than I usually spend. But, never fear, Black Friday sales are still going on.
I think a lot of people this year skipped on Black Friday the thought of getting trampled for a item that has dropped maybe 60% at the time isn't to good for your health

I always tell people Christmas is year round for me because life keeps giving

Don't be sorry your Thread to do as you wish this is what should be done actually so people can see if it's really worth the buy

I did the same thing with AC4 so don't worry it's good information even if you post the whole game

Pictures vs playtime as you know is way different experience so i am sure you have not killed anyone's joy

Yes Dude. I have 18% downloaded now, but everyone in the world has decided to get on the internet, so my download speed has dropped dramatically. I have 34 hours and 30 minutes left of downloading. That's why I usually get the DVD. At least I get most of it over with. But, late tonight the speed will increase to fair, for me. It's one of those things about living in the country and having only 1 option for an ISP if you want high speed.

The question is, are all the updates/patches so far included in the download you are currently doing? If not then you may have another few hours on top of what you have already

His current download will include all the updates since release. There is another patch coming though. I hope it isn't like BF3 patches, where the way they are made the patches are huge.

How well do I know. Been there, Done that. I suspect the updates and patches are not included. But, maybe I'll be through by the time you receive your game. I should have used my head and checked Amazon. I would have received it before this download is finished.

I bought BF3 on DVD. After installation as I recall there was a 5 GB update I had to download. But, That's still much better than a 24 GB download.

Yes the BF3 patches were huge. After I downloaded BF4, the only update I needed was a batllelog web plugin, about 2.5mb. Just searched, there was a 1.1 gb patch mid november. I downloaded the game on the 29th, the patch was included in the download.
