    OK Noober.

Doug, do you get any of this most terrible stuttering?

No I don't. It plays smooth and great for me. I just finished the first level in the campaign. I like it. I will finish the campaign, and then move to MP.

Don't be worrying too much about the stuttering folks it's nothing to do with your hardware. It's a lot better than it was a couple of weeks ago but there is another patch coming out this week to fix the remaining stutter and sound drop's aswell as a few other things. You should have seen it at release it was a nightmare and pretty unplayable.

We are verifying the upcoming PC patch and making sure it is good to go. We are aiming to get this patch out the week of Dec 2. Right now, we don’t have a set date for it, but here’s what it will include. Stay tuned for more updates in the Battlefield 4 Control Room.

    PC Game Update Notes
-Removed the blur effect on soldiers that appeared when Commanders were using EMP attacks
-Fixed the audio bug where audio sometimes randomly dropped out while playing on certain multiplayer maps (typically Golmud Railway and Hainan Resort)
-Fixed the "one-hit kill bug" where occasionally damage from a single bullet was applied multiple times
    - Fixed a common crash that would occur when exiting from the Single Player Campaign to Main Menu
-Tweaked the network and computer performance screen to show proper values. Players can now test their computer and network connection and get recommendations if they need to adjust something to improve their gameplay experience.

Sounds good, hopefully by the time I get it at the end of next week the patch will be out.

I found this article from a couple of days ago that was quite and interesting read on BF4 Performance

It seems they are a lot more involved in resolving issues this time around. Most games have issues at launch, so far I am one of the lucky ones with none. And you are right about MP, that's what battlefield is all about. I am only playing the SP right now. So far it seems to be the best campaign yet. I really liked BC2's campaign, but that is a little different twist on BF. I'm looking forward to BC3.

Good link Paul. When I start MP will be my true test. I'm worried about only having 2GB vram. In SP it never used more tha 1.34. I have a feeling MP will be a whole different take.

Yeah it's very nearly sorted and I should think that by the time you get it it should run pretty good, It's only minor things now but I got used to them lol. The blur effect when the enemy commander does a scan is horrible though but that's being removed

Yeah they're definitely putting the effort in to getting it sorted quickly this time around but people will always have something they're not happy with won't they. Some of the thing's they complain about in the Battlelog forums are just rediculous but luckily they're not all being listened to this time. Unlike with BF3 where they nerfed all the weapon's.
It's looking really good so far and I've yet to finish the campaign.

Yeah it does get shiny :) reinstalled fraps to lose the console overlay. Taking a small break, the game is great!
