Yea,I know that my internet speed is terrible, but there is really nothing I can do about it... Theres a huge difference in the price between 2-4 and 5-10 mbps

If I may a couple of points,
1. With your current motherboard Crossfire is not an option as the board only has one PCI-E 16x slot. It doesn't even have a full length slot at a slower speed (4x or 8x), so no place to put a second card.
2. That motherboard was actually never made to run the FX series of CPU's. All Asus did was change the socket change the bios so that it would work with them (they aren't the only ones, as all the other board manufacturers did the same thing), and using an older chipset on it. That is also another reason it won't support Crossfire as the chipset never supported it in the first place.
I know my MOBO doesn't support crossfire,I just said that at one point in the future ,crossfire will be a option for me.
Also, what do you mean my MOBO wasn't made for FX CPU's? That sounds actually really interesting to me !
If it helps any this is your motherboard before Asus went and changed the socket from AM3 to AM3+,

If you look at the CPU support list it only supports CPU's up to 95 watts. Your board is exactly the same and the only FX CPU's it supports are the 95 watt versions. Another thing they changed on it was the memory slots. The original used DD2 and yours uses DD3. Asus wasn't the only one to put out boards like this, all the other AMD motherboard manufacturers did the same thing.
Unfortunately that means that if you were ever inclined to upgrade your FX 4100 to any of the FX 8xxx series, you would also be looking at a new motherboard.
Well, that sucks....that means if I want to get a high end AMD FX cpu'd,i'd need to buy a brand new MOBO....
Well,I need to admit, that im happy with my current CPU / MOBO / RAM.I bought all of them for 290 USD,and all of them are new.
So yeah,I actually can't complain, because I was on a pretty low budget while I was getting all of these components.
Anyway,thanks for helping me :)
So...um...sorry if I'm wasting your time,but is the ASUS M5A97 R2.0 MOBO good ?
