    XBox Controller as Mouse

Tried xpadder, switchblade, both running as admin and with various compatibility modes with no success.

Anyone else had any luck with this?

    Try JoyToKey:

    JoyToKey English Version

    Instructions:

Use an Xbox 360 Controller as a Mouse

I've had a bit of success with this.

why would you want to??.... is it just me or is there really no point to it?
Surely you cant use a controller as accurate as mouse its self... what use would using your pad be?.... im sorry but i do fail to see the point
    maybe you can enlighten me?

sure i love mouse & keyboard more than any gamepad, but a lot of my friends only play console games so i'm just making them feel at home

edit: also i got joytokey working and it's great, thanks.

    Yes, it's just you

Seriously though, you aren't replacing the mouse, just enabling it to act like a mouse.

    For example:

'you had just finished playing a game with the controller and quit to the desktop. Since you are using the controller, you are quite comfortable where you are ,yet the mouse is on the desk, out of reach.... You would then need to get up from where you are comfortable to reach for the mouse.....Now this simply won't do. Fail.

With a controller that can function as a mouse at the desktop, you can navigate, do what you need and then re-start a game all without moving from your comfy position. Success '

Then there's the most important, time tested, mans reason-

    "Because you can"

P.S Glad you got it working james :)
