    Hi badger,

Yeah I would love a wheel, but to get a semi decent one is not cheap is it. Well far more than I could pay. I recon £200+

Maybe one day when I get a bit of spare cash but for now I have to stick with the Xbox controller. I have to say I have never once had a problem driving with the controller and have always been able to set pretty darn good laptimes on it in all racing games. Until they updated Assetto Corsa that is. It's the first time I have been unable to drive a car. I may spend a bit more time trying to figure it out but it's become a PITA if you know what I mean.

That sucks Paul There was an update that kept disconnecting my wheel, but they got onto it quickly. Fingers crossed they'll do the same for the controller. It's one thing that Kunos really impresses me about.

Have you jumped on the official forum?

Actually, you could get a used Logitech G25 for much less than 200 pounds. Still a great wheel.

I got my TrackIR 5 the other day. Despite some bugs and quirks, it's actually pretty good. Adds a lot to the experience. Even better was I got the Pro version for the same price as the one without the head clip.

And it works fantastic with my X52 Pro controller in Arma 3.

Cheers for the info on the G25 Patrick. I wander how much they will go for at the end of the auctions. I will keep my eye on them to find out.

I found a thread on the official forums, 10 pages long of people with the same problem as me. I have changed some more settings, it's not as good as before but I can actually complete a lap without coming off.

My best on the Mugello circuit pre update was 1.35 and I just did a 1.39 so 4 seconds off my best at the moment but progress non the less.

No worries mate. At least it will give you an idea on on a more realistic price for a decent wheel.

The first one ended on £135 and the second one only £68 due to the shifter being broken.

Hmm. Jumped more than I thought it would tbh. Pity.

And while not imperative, a shifter really does that add bit "extra" when driving H-Pattern cars. I can see why it it stayed low.

for £68 with a broken shifter or not thats a bargain!
im considering making or buying a sequencial shifter, just to add to the gap between the h box and the paddle shifters.
