Can't play assassins creed - "AC4BFSP.exe has stopped working"

I am able to load up Uplay but whenever I click play for assassins creed it starts to load then stops and gives me this error, please help.

try to delete it and reinstall it.

I use macbook air with retina but has the windows software installed. do you want the specs for my mac?

its probs because of the GPU not being supported. delete the game and reinstall.

Before you go crazy uninstalling and installing the game multiple times, my best recommendation is to go directly to the AC4 Ubi forum, I am sure you will find your answer there, or at least multiple threads regarding the problem and how it is not your fault but theirs (for the most part).

Pretty much all of the UBI games have some sort of problem or another and Uplay is a huge part of that problem as it has more problems that you can shake a stick at... then again, your problem may very well be your computer specs.

As already mentioned above, your GPU (Intel HD 4000) is not good enough to play AC4. Even if you get it to run you will get 10-15 fps on lowest settings and that is not acceptable for this game.

Still, if you want to play (this might even burn your GPU). Update the drivers of the GPU from Intel website.

yes, this card can handle the game. But, you won't get the best performance.
