    Contrabardus;

    I've come to expect you to attack anything I post no matter what it is. It's just the way you are with me. You're entitled to your opinion. I just know that It'll never align with whatever I say.

    Thankfully my credibility around here far exceeds your personal attacks on me.

    Later.
    Never mind him Drew, lots of uninformed "info" there, more opinion. Use the Ignore feature in your user CP. I have a dip that does that to me while being a favorite here, so I dumped him.

    I used to get asked all the time by people what should I buy, be it TV, computer or even VCR's DVD players etc. I would advise on the best of my ability thinking of build quality, ease of repair (having to ship a Vizio TV to California for repair is not what I considered "good" support from the manufacturer) or in the case of Vizio badge engineered Chinese junk were they stick their name on a product. It was a complete waste of time in all cases, they bought what the salesman recommended not what someone who had spent 30 years in electronics had told them. Of course we all know sales staff are so very qualified as they are just out of school and know sweet FA apart from how much commission do I get on this product. I would not let it phase me Tanya. Just another moron that asked for advice and was sweet talked by a salesman. Happens all the time.

    Funny you mention Vizo repair center it is right down the street from me i am in South Orange county lol
    Yep, the shipping charge to return a 40" TV UPS (in its original carton or one they send you) was far more than the client wanted to spend and purchased a new TV with in home service from Best Buy while the Vizio collected dust. Now Best Buy sells them. Still they did let 70% of the knowledgeable technicians, managers etc go on July 4th 2012 so some corporate idiot decided to stock and sell them not caring about how to fix them. Still most TV's these days are non repairable items so it no longer matters as long as you don't need to pay shipping on a plasma TV.

    What a tragedy... more so because he has that monstrosity of a Rig to play games that a normal dell desktop could easily play

    OK, ok, perhaps I am exaggerating a bit but it needed to be said.

    Monstrosity... Read "Immensely and Humongously Overkill"

    One thing is clear, that mother is doing a big disservice to that kid... I wonder what is going to happen when Mommy can no longer sustain purchases of that magnitude? I can only imagine how much she will have to pay when the fruit of her looms wants a car?
