Razer Abyssus for the mouse (not the "mirror" version, which is a fingerprint magnet).
Corsair K70 for the keyboard.

You will have as many combo answers as people answering, or you will have as many answer of combos that don't work well, like me... I have never gotten used to the Logitech G9 and the G15
Mouse of choice for me has to be a R.A.T 9. its simply an amazing bit of kit and fully adjustable for anyone's hands.
the 9 version is wireless and the most expensive, but the 7 varient has the same spec just wired.
keyboard would have to be the corsair K70, just about the best you can get at a very good price.
I dont own one yet, its on my to buy list this week.. if I dont spend too much in the pub tonight lol
I've got a Logitech G110 and a Razer Naga. Both are very nice.
The logitech G110 has 12 macro keys and is backlit. Works well when I use it for playing games, but honestly I don't very often because I also have a Razer Hydra and I usually use that instead of the keyboard for movement.
The hydra is basically two of the Wii nunchuck peripherals connected to a base with a few extra buttons. Another way to describe it would be that it's a gamepad that has been split into two halves, one for each hand. I only use half of it though as the mouse works better for aiming.
My Razer Naga has a 12 number pad on the side of it and five top buttons with a scroll wheel. It's plenty for most games and almost always covers any hotkeys I need. So I barely, if ever, actually touch the keyboard when playing.
