You played the Metro 2033 Redux Danny? Lots of people giving good reviews on it, however avoid last light redux as it's just a slightly faster framerate compared to the original.

Seriously try Warframe, it's free and can be totally casual. Very good gameplay, mixing guns and melee... though parkhouring is terrible for the most part.

I think I did try Metro 2033 and couldn't hack it but, at this juncture I am giving to give anything a try. I will ask my friend to lend it to me and see what happens.

I think I check the video of their gameplay and it did nothing for me but you know what, it may be time for me to get off my high horse and lower my expectations of a good game
