Curse.com is giving away a half million Elder Scrolls Online beta keys. First come first serve. Just register with the site, fill out a couple of registration forms, input the key, and download the client.

I expect they'll go fast, so nab one while you can if you're interested.

Haven't booted it up yet as I decided to drop in and let you guys know while I was downloading and installing it.

Just so you know, the Beta does not start until the 7th at 12pm. So you can't start it up and jump in right away once it's downloaded. You can have a look at the splash screen and adjust your graphics settings and such, but that's it for now.

Also, be aware that you have to sign an non-disclosure agreement. Meaning no screenshots and you're not allowed to post information about it. It's not an open beta and runs for a limited time starting tomorrow through the 10th at 12pm, so get in there while you can.

If you get into this beta you're in the next one as well. So even if you can only just start an account and maybe create a character it still might be worth your time to get in while you can and just check it out in the next Beta. I don't know when it will be, but the game is out and there's also an open beta coming later, so probably within a couple of weeks. You've got until midnight tomorrow to DL it, even on a slow connection you should make it if only just in time to set up an account and get into the next Beta.

For those who are participating in this one, keep it on your drive when it's over. You can use your character in the next beta and don't have to start over from scratch.

    I'm totally buying this.

Also, one thing to consider is that the HDD requirement for the final release is 60GB. So if you don't want to use up that much of your HDD space for a game, you should probably find something else to play.
