4gb ram limits you here, CPU isn't so great, id say medium-high settings 40+fps

Not sure if it will get you ultra at 60fps but it would be a help, my brother gets 60fps solid on an 280x at 1080p

an r7 260x at 1080p on ultra will get mins of 22fps and max of 27fps.

sooo at 720p I doubt it will be vastly higher than 35-40.

    I play on med/high at 1080p with a 2yr old 2gb 6950 and I get 60fps~

The r7 is a decent card. You can get one for less than $100 and it will run almost any game out there on Medium/High settings at a decent framerate. You're not going to get 60fps on Ultra in BF4 on that card.

It's not a bad card at all, it's a workhorse that will run most any game well at decent settings. Just don't expect it to run games like a Radeon HD 7970. It's a gaming level GPU, but a budget one and not high end.

Your Ram is sufficient. 4GB is the recommended amount for the game. 8GB wouldn't hurt and would provide a small performance boost, but it's not going to get you 60fps on Ultra settings with that GPU. You'd need a pretty expensive higher end GPU to get that kind of performance on a game like BF4.

Just to show what it can taketo run at ultra on 1080p at solid 60fps(My brothers specs), Something similar would achieve it, im not sure how much lower specs would do, but i know they specs run it at ultra.

    Amd Phenom 2 x6 1100t(3.7ghz 6 core)
    Sapphire R9 280X(3GB)
