Constant crashing While Playing Star Wars The Old Republic

Fist off I hope this is in the correct section.

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Y580. While playing SWTOR I experience frequent freezing and crashing. Sometimes the game freezes, which causes the whole system to freeze. I am forced to reboot. It can cause the graphics to look fractured or cracked.
Sometimes the game just quits but everything else is fine.
Sometimes the game will go into the load screen for the game for no reason.

I am pretty sure this is related to the nvidia drivers. I unistalled all nvidia drivers and ran cc cleaner then installed the provided Lenovo drivers for my laptop. After doing this the cashing was much better, but it is once again crashing frequently. I don't know if there is a driver conflict or really what to do to fix this. Any help would be appreciated because it is driving me crazy
I also just noticed that my graphics card is a nvidia geforce gtx 660 M, but my dxdiag lists the Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000.

Also if someone could tell me the best way to post my DxDiag if it is needed. It exceeds the maximun number of characters allowed.

Make sure your drivers are up to date. Go to the Nvidia website and download the newest driver for your GPU. The default drivers that came with your laptop may be out of date. It's best to have the latest drivers the vast majority of the time.

It sounds like you might indeed be running the onboard chipset, which you don't want. The Intel HD 4000 series isn't enough to run SWtoR.

Check your bios. Press F2 on the Levono logo screen when it boots up. Your mobo should automatically switch from onboard to your GPU if it's set properly, but it may be set to the onboard chipset there. Make sure it's not set to UMA graphics. Auto should work fine, but if that fails try setting it to run exclusively on your installed GPU and see if that helps.
