Cyborg RAT 7 Gaming Mouse

I have a RAT 7 Gaming mouse that has the small red button on the left side for "Precision Aim" does anyone know if its possible to re-map that button to use as a PTT for teamspeak?

Ive tried that but it doesnt recognize that button...the button in theory is supposed to slow down the mouse movement so you can "aim" better in FPS games so Teamspeak doesnt recognize it as a "button" I dont think...I'd love to use it as the PTT if their was a work around ay to do it.

Does the mouse software give any options for that button, or is it just allowing the setting for the sniper feature?

it cannot be remapped in the software. it is simply a dpi reducer. only how much it can be reduced can be changed.

I have voice coms bound to on of the side buttons. I then use the second scroll wheel for tasks that id normally assign to the 2 side buttons. for example crouch is scroll down with the thumb wheel and prone is scroll up

Thanks for explaining it badger, normally any button can be re-mapped. Apparently that one is just a dpi changer

The title makes it clear enough I suppose. More interesting is the actual and final reason I have come to this conclusion. It could have been battery life, or cost of replacements. but it's not. It could have been that no matter what it would always annoyingly lose connection quality and...
