problem with Game lag after new mobo install

    Well with afterburner it appears everything is running as intended. core clock ramps up to around 800 during gaming and it isnt getting hot. gonna try re installing the driver and see if that helps

    I have not. Probably gonna try that next. Could be the old mobo chipset is not agreeing with the new causing the lag on some level.

    Good call.
    A new different motherboard needs to be installed just like you would if it was a complete new system. Using the motherboard CD and a fresh install of Windows 7 with all it updates.

    Well unfortunately it seems that was the issue, but I only had a few minutes before work to try it out.
    Lesson learned need a clean install after a new mobo.
