    Mouse skipping in games

So, the problem is that when I play games (tested cod4 and cs 1.6) my mouse randomly skips. Its not often, if I wave my mouse right-left it happens like 1/7 times. It happens when I also press some buttons from the keyboard at the same time.

I've tried with two mouses, MS IE 3.0 and razer diamondback, both with windows 7 drivers and the result is the same.

    Does anyone have same problems?

    Changing usb-port did not help.

Im running Windows 7 Ultimate x86
AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE
    Asus M4A785TD-V EVO
    NVIDIA GTX 275
    4GB Kingston 1333Mhz Ram

I think not that many people have Win 7 loaded on their PCs yet. Of the people that do have trouble, most ignore or will not take the time to post what happens. I have the exact same trouble with my laptop which has the mouse within the chasis. I also tried a trackball mouse and a 800dpi optical mouse on my desktop pc. Windows 7 has a MAJOR bug with the mouse controller or whatever makes the mouse and cursor jump. This only happens when using Windows 7. WinXP and WinVista work perfectly on both laptop and desktop. I have four close frineds with the identical problem too. I paid $160 for an OS that is junk. I am furious that Microsoft failed to make the most remedial (but important) piece of hardware work properly. Whomever released Windows 7 to RTM should be fired!

You might check to see if you have "pointer trails" on you mouse cursor. That will cause problems sometimes.

I've had it with win7 and installed windows vista a couple weeks ago, just to find that In all goldsource-games (cs1.6, hl...) I still have the problem. I've been talking with steam support for a while about my problem, but havent found a solution yet.
