Windows 7: Cold fear

I was running Cold Fear just fine on Xp, here it runs, I hear sounds, menu sounds but just black screen. Also tried compatibilty mode, no help there.

it seems to me that you have some sort of corruption with your video card driver. Try uninstalling the driver you have and installing the latest driver.

Also, check your monitor driver and make sure you have installed a driver for it and not the Generic PnP driver that Win 7 installs.

But my monitor is a bit old, I don't think there is a new driver for it. I've updated my graphics driver. No dice. I didn't uninstall though. Strange thing is I tried playing NFS: MW, it works just fine.
