BSOD/Freezing Playing Games, Getting Worse

Sup guys, I'm not too familiar with posting system problems since over the years I've always figured out how to fix them, but this time I do need help. I was going to post this in the BSOD forum but I don't have the dump files anymore, which were incomplete anyway (more info below).

I built my current computer about a year ago. Up until a few months ago I'd never had a problem with it, except for my graphics card which hangs down a little bit, it doesn't seem affect anything but I hate seeing it like that, so I tape it to where its supposed to hook onto (but it falls back down every day or two).

Anyway, the real problem was I started getting BSODs (a clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor) playing Far Cry 3, and the memory dump would freeze at 30%. I used to have no problems with gaming except for overheating, but I would keep my fan at 100% during gameplay and everything was okay. I never quite figured out why I was getting the BSOD but I never could play Far Cry 3 again, even after a complete reinstall of the game and Windows. After a while I stopped getting the BSOD entirely, the system simply froze completely, with the audio looping.
The problem started getting worse when suddenly Skyrim stopped working as well, about a month ago, with the same problem. After reinstallation with no mods the problem persisted, so I gave up on that as well.

Now, the same problem is happening, using the CryEngine SDK, which I use quite a lot and am not willing to give up using since I love game development. Unfortunately I can't really provide much more info... the only actual error I've had has been the BSOD which I haven't had in a month or two and I've reinstalled Windows 7. I've run several tests which some friends recommended to me, including a RAM stress test, but nothing is ever wrong until playing an intensive game for a few minutes.

I hope you guys can help out with this, if this should be in another place let me know please.

Specs:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
AMD A8-6600K APU (Processor)
AMD Radeon HD 7750 (slightly overclocked but problem persists with default clock speeds)
4 GB DDR3 RAM / 4GB Page File

I've had this problem multiple times. Its most likely a virus you must find out. The easiest (and most lazy because I'm that type of person) is to get a technician that isn't one of those "I can only fix the crap from my company". This happened to my alienware, (I know I am stupid for not building one and buying a ripoff) it kept freezing randomly and having the greatest cpu spikes of all time, all the forums said "upgrade your driver. Reinstalling windows doesn't really remove some files either xD. Its a virus infecting either your cpu or gpu. I hope I helped I'm not exactly sure about this, and I'm not a geek either.

Thank you, have any more details, where to look? I had thought a virus was one of the possibilities but I'm not sure where to look.

I'm really stupid to be honest. All I know is the virus is infecting your drivers xD. I called up a technician LOL
