XTrap error with Windows 7

Hello,

I am unable to connect to my game - Martial Heroes , which support XTrap security (abit like GameGuard). It gives an error which is shown below -

Is there any solution for this? I have re-installed the game and have contacted people. It seems games with XTrap doesnt work with Windows 7... but is there any solution to make it work?

Hi,

As this will be a problem with the way that the X Trap software checks the ID of the OS it will only be fixed at that end.

MS has done a lot to prevent this type of error, even to the extent of setting the version number to 6.1 rather than 7.0

The only advice I can give is if enough users contact X Trap to inform them of the issue the sooner this will be rectified

i reported it to them, but i think the only way it will get fixed anytime soon is if everyone reports it. but as soon as anyone knows if it has been patched please tell me via the forum.

Please follow the steps below if you recieve this error.

Steps
-You need to disable any AVC modules in an antivirus/firewall software.
AVC means Active virus control.
-You can mostly find it in the antivirus module, advanced settings. Tab- AVC, disable it.
please note for some antivirus software you need to open Expert mode, To open this mode most time in options top right in the software, you can select expert mode.
if you cannot find expert mode ask your antivirus support where to find the AVC module in steps

Disableing antivirus does not automaticly disable the AVC, you have to manualy disable it. it is because xtrap also monitor packets that causes the program to report this error.

I know its old thread here but the problem still happen alot.
