John, you are so right, the new drivers are a death sentence, installed it, played GTA, it crashed on me, rolled back the drivers, and it works like a dream.
Parshimers, try and get yourself the 190.62 Nvidia Drivers, The ones im running now, and your GTA:SA should run perfectly, and not crash into a pile of virtual garbage. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Build OS W7 RTM Ultimate x64 CPU Intel Q8400 @ 2.66GHZ Motherboard Gigabyte GA-EG45M-UD2H Memory 4GB DDR2-800 Graphics Card Gainward GTS 450 GLH 1GB Edition Sound Card Integrated 8 Channel Monitor(s) Displays AOC 23.6 Inch Widescreen LCD Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard HP SK-2960 Multimedia Keyboard Mouse Logitech M350 Wireless Gaming Mouse PSU Apevia Java Power 500W Case Cooler Master HAF 922 Black Cooling Stock Intel CPU Fan Hard Drives Seagate 500GB Internal

a) 190.62 drivers, as you said
b) a nocd crack
which makes sense to me, because secuROM is a rootkit afaik, and it may not appreciate some of the kernel-level changes that have occured from xp to 7. | My System Specs | | |

OK, I moved these posts into their own thread b/c the game list thread is just that - a game list thread. Any discussion is to be carried on outside of that thread. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number The Beast Model V OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Core i7 965 EE @3.6 GHz Motherboard eVGA x58 Classified3 Memory 3 * 4GB Mushkin Enh Redline CL7 DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3-12800) Graphics Card eVGA 560 Ti 448 Core Classified + eVGA GTX260 SSC (PhysX) Sound Card Realtek HD Audio (on-board) Monitor(s) Displays 2 * Acer X213Wbd Screen Resolution 2 * 1680 x 1050 Keyboard Logitech G15 Keyboard Mouse Logitech Performance Mouse MX PSU ThermalTake BlackWidow TX TR2 850 W Case ThermalTake Level 10 GT (Black) Cooling Corsair H100 CPU | 2 * TT 140mm TriLED | 2 * Antec TriCool Hard Drives 1 * Intel Cheryville 520 180 GB SATA III SSD |
