CoD4 - Issues with Multiplayer

Hi,

You list Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare as working. The single player does indeed work, the multiplayer does not.

NOT Working

Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Multiplayer (x64)

Game crashes the instant you click on multiplayer. PunkBuster is updated as are my drivers. I have gone through all other solutions (Soundcard etc). There is a fixed exe file available but that causes PunkBuster to kick after a few minutes because of a corrupted memory address.

Regards

Have you tried plugging in a microphone? Alot of people seem to report back that this works, including myself.

Allow me to take a moment to say... OMG

Tha has fixed the problem, I should have guessed considering the number of issues there were with the sound driver.

Thanks and Regards.

(You may want to add a note that says "With Microphone" to your list)

I've also experienced the similar problem in Windows 7 Build 7100 x64 Edition. But now after installing Windows 7 Build 7600 x64 Edition, I've not so far faced any problem of similar nature...

Is there a known fix for this...I just bought the game and don't have a microphone...

I feel ripped off and angry that I can't play multiplayer after I just purchased it because of some stupid bug?!?
