I got the game from Steam, but it is a Windows problem.
Downloaded it and it didn`t work at the first time.

Windows firewall isn`t blocking me, and i have permissions.

    Thanks
How did you determine it's a Windows problem?

And have you looked to the Steam forums to see what they're saying about the issue?

Also, check this link for troubleshooting Steam games - Steam Support (also in my guide, step 11)

    Let us know.

If everything works on your computer except that game I not understanding how it can be a Windows 7 problem.

I will be watching and learning.

You mind telling us what the problem is, or does he not know? Seems to me we're just going through a bunch of guessing games where we have to extract information on every post. Sorry.

    Good luck.

Yep you are correct sygnus21. It's the tail chasing the dog syndrome.

JustCall I think I understand better now. You just got the computer from a friend with little information except your friend thinks it's a Windows problem.

    Lets start with the basics.

Do this tutorial by Brink and lets see if Microsoft still loves you.

Windows Genuine and Activation Issue Posting Instructions

Once that passes muster then we can go to the next steps.
To find and repair a problem one must go step at a time.

Take a look at my System Specs. Lower left corner of this post. You will see a lot of information.
See if you could fill in your specs a little more completely so we know what we are working with.

This little free program should show you a lot about your system.

Pretty sure it's not a "Windows problem" but rather a game problem, but we're getting sparse info here and there. And if it is a Windows issue, it could very well be an admin rights issue, or lack thereof.

    Anyway...

Thank you for updating your system specs. When you get time could you also put your security programs and what power supply you have?

While we are waiting for a expert to look at the log, could you put in a post what Tuneup, Cleanup, Speedup, ect programs you use?
Information like this can be very helpful.

I have requested for some help with the log. Just hang in their.

And i don`t have time to check my power supply now...
    That will be updated soon.

    Thanks, JustCall

No you don't need a Tuneup program and no you don't want one unless you would like more computer problems.

    I have never used DriveMax.
Windows 7 is pretty much driver complete. Most report that they have problems with most of these driver programs.

No hurry on the power supply. Just when you can.
It's important to know this information. The power supply is the most important part in the computer. Nothing works as it should unless the power supply works as it should.
