I have installed assassin creed 4 black flags on my laptop i was able to play the game on the medium and low settings but it shows red over the structures and over everything else but only for few seconds, then it becomes normal again but after sometimes it comes back for few seconds. so anyone can tell me that why this all is happening in the game. I would try re-installing. It almost sounds like you have missing textures or something.

Try to re-install the game and run it to see if the lines are gone, If it's still there then your onboard graphics can't support the game considering that is a first generation Intel HD.

Assassin's Creed
I'm done playing it, but does anyone know if you can run the game like most PC games to take up the whole screen instead of just the window? Or does Assassin's Creed only run in windowed mode?
