    installing from disc to steam problem


    hello everyone! :) i have a big problem and i cant fix it. When i trying to install Call of duty modern warfare 3 from disc to steam it doesnt install, steam is downloading the game not installing it so i dont want to download because it would take about 15 hours my internet is very slow. Okay so when i launch the setup.exe from disc i dont hear that noise when cumputer read the disc nothing happens i need to open setup.exe file and then isntall it. So ok i opened setup then everything looked like this
    and i left my computer for about 1 hour and when i came back this was still here so i need to fix this

    if I remember correctly, there is an option in Steam which allows you
    to add other games, which you have already installed on your PC, to your Steam Library..

    I see no problem, what you're downloading is updates (700mb of updates, steam is reporting the game is 11Gb), however it does look like there's a problem with your steam connection, have you changed download region within steam>settings>downloads? Also check your limit there.

    its set on (no limit)

    I think you might be out of luck, unless you install it while in offline mode, that way it won't update the game, that does mean you can't play online.
