    Access Violation

EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (C0000005) Shuts me off during flight simulation. Can this be repaired/corrected? Thank you. I am also getting oc0000142 fail. Everything works fine..just annoying.

Perhaps a little bit of more explanation on your part may yield better and faster results?

What have you tried so far?

    When did it happen?

Does it happen with just this game or others as well?

What is (specifically) the name of the game?

Have you patch it or updated the game?

This happens about 5 minutes into a flight simulation. Not a game. Shuts computer right down. Ran disc check and ok. When I ran sfc /scannow it found errors and repaired some. Other did not get repaired. I do not know how to read to event log,so I am at a real loss. I require some plugins ,so I have started eliminating them to see if I still crash. The new items I have added are what I am concentrating on. My simulator is called X Plane 10, if that helps. It is a very complex system. I would appreciate any help I can get. I wondering if it is or could be my server? Thanks .....Chuck

Right now you're just saying your PC crashes but provide no specifics or system specs. We can't help with that as we're not sitting in front of your computer. Please provide more details.

    Thanks.

    +1 on what sygnus21 said.

Also, you said you ran sfc and you repaired some files and some you didn't. Again, not a PC guru but it appears you have some issues with your Operating System to begin with. Now, what does your server has to do with anything? Are you also telling us that you are running your Simulation from the Server? if so... you need more of an explanation because now I am even more confused

You should provide some more information.

    *Wild guess incoming*
Try updating your graphic card drivers.
