Install / update SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD) first, before you install any Virtual Drive Software such as Daemon Tools, Power ISO, Alcohol 120 etc. I'm already installed and test all software in both x86 and x64 bit Windows 7, works perfectly fine. :)

    Download here (DuplexSecure site).
    SPTD for Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/Windows 7 (32 bit)
    SPTD for Windows XP/2003/Vista/Windows 7 (64 bit)

Well first off, check to see if you are in the right realm. USWest and USEast are the most popular. If the account is in USEast and you are trying to log onto the USWest realm is will say it does not exist. To change realms click gateway on the main menu which is right under battle.net.

Also accounts expire if it is not logged into after 90 days.

her account was last logged on the 3rd this month.I contacted blizz and forwarded the saved folder in the game folder.according to them the account does not exist either.also it is USWest. For some odd reason she was able to play for well over 2 years and now they say that it never existed

    1) Full install the Diablo II Discs. (delete the Diablo installation folder if you installed it once)
If the installation wants to do video test, make sure you go on ahead and test. i found out that this was the issue.
    2) Install the Expansion (do not remove the disc yet)
    3) Download the Diablo II Patch D2Patch_113c (Blizzard Support)
    4) Copy the *.MPQ files from the Disc to your Diablo II installation folder
    5) Remove Expansion Disc
    6) Set the Compatibility mode of "Game.exe" and "Diablo II.exe" to Windows XP Service Pack 3 check run as administrator just in case
    7) Run D2VidTst.exe again just incase
    Try it!

I just have to run mine in window mode.
Add "-w" to the end of the shortcut, without the quotes.
