Windows 7 - WOW vs Starcraft

my dumb friend thinks WOW is better than Starcraft what do u guys think please help me prove him wrong

Two completely different games so can't really compare them.

How can you compare a MMo vs a strategy game. At least compare WoW to Aion then we can talk.

All i can say is, personally... WoW is a waste of time. Something you pay monthly to play, you waste days upon days to play. Now playing recreationally i see it as any other game, however the case differs with the people who waste all day, every day sitting in their moms basement playing is rediculous. to say its a stereotype is a lie, i know quite a few people that do that.
The extent some people play that game is unreal, get a real life.

I don't think that you can compare these 2 games to determine which is better...they are different games entirely and thus may suit one person better than another.

To each his own I guess. There are quite a few things that I personally enjoy doing that some gamers might consider to be a waste of time.

You mean the upcoming Starcraft 2?

Aren't they the exact same game with different graphics?

Couldn't you say the same about any RTS game?

I've only play SC1 briefly, and I'm not much of an RTS player so wasn't my type of game, but something must be good about it as it reached 800,000 pre-orders in North America for SC2.

Heh you could, but especially when they are made by the same company and by a company trying to make Starcraft more popular so why not borrow on the success of the formula for WoW?
