A doubt about downloading Battlefield 3

I'm thinking download the Battlefield 3, the version that was given(free) in Origin. But will be the updated game version(last). Including PunkBuster too ?

    Greetings.

Was it given free? :) It will update to last version (after install if not during install). It will not update to include DLCs if they were not part of the free deal. Part of the reason they started Origin is to keep game files up to date.

Nice move, but without DLC. But there are servers with the base content :)

Something which has BF3 is PunkBuster problems. Sure, that can be fixed. But when it will download and installed. It will the version that works.

And if it is not. Can affect BF Hardline PunkBuster ?

Latest Punkbuster should work with all. Like the game files, you need to keep punkbuster up to date too (it should be automatic but sometimes you may need to do it manually).

    Everything works fine :)

Surely in the installation already had all patches. Because when it finished, the next step was to click on play.

Ok, I'll leave BF3 for the weekend and rest of Hardline :P

    Thanks GokAy.
