quake 4 console error

    quake 4 console error


    hi i have win7 x64 when i running quake 4 and opening console and typing it shows only square block not words an the fps counter in the right corner only show 1 block not numbers whats wrong????

    Woah, i didnt know about this error.

    I actually couldnt even install Q4. It stated that it was not compatible with W7.

    Ill try again sometime soon i think!

    Have you tried the console in fullscreen mode?

    I personally didn't get to play or even install Quake 4 (Disc were corrupt)

    When my quake 4 didnt run i have a torrented version which i had used, it seemed to work better than my purchased cd of quake 4... strange how i made it work

    I'm having this problem with Windows 7 x64 as well. Running in full screen mode.

    Just tried it on Windows 7 x86 and it's the same.


    COPY OF GAME WAS BAD, try another copy. I got another one to work fine.
