Computer games lagging for no reason??

So i played this game called Heroes of the Storm a lot, it ran just fine but now it keeps dropping to 1-2 fps for no reason, making it unplyable. So i asked my mom if she did anything to the computer (because she uses it too) and she said she updated the Anti-Viruses, Avast and Malaware Bites (Don't know if it has anything to do with it). I dont know what to do to fix this, help please!

Why would you use two anti-viruses? I'd only keep one because that'll definitely kill frames down because both AVs are doing real time protection.

It shouldn't be because of that because Malwarebytes is meant to run with another antivirus.

    Hi,
Malwarebytes is not a antivirus program so if you only have Avast and not another then you might uninstall Avast and use MSE temporarily to see if the issue clears up,
Be sure to use the uninstaller after using uninstall a program,

A bit late to the party but...

Try a clean startup - Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup

Also get HWInfo (start in sensor mode) and check temperatures and any throttling.
