    Diablo II

I have heard there are problems getting D2 to run on W7. Any experiences from anyone here?

Mine installed off the CD's just fine, including LoD. I put the latest patch 1.12a downloaded off of blizzards site, and started the game up.

0 problems. Don't even need compatibility mode.

    I'm running 64 bit Professional.

When first started in Win7 Ultimate x64 getting an "known issue" warning message. It runs just fine as best I can tell. Expansion set "Lord of Destruction" also runs fine for me.

Online or single player. Expansion pack or just Diablo II?

I didn't even bother installing Diablo 2. It runs without reinstalling.

I'm getting the really bad lag spikes as well.
I'm playing on Diablo 2: LOD online.

Diablo 2 isn't listed as compatible in Windows 7: Windows 7 Compatibility Blizzard Entertainment Diablo 2.

You will need to run in compatibility mode for now: Make older programs run in this version of Windows.
