    Help me left for dead cant play in windows7


    ok guys i have jus recently install left for dead in my new com which is in the os of windows 7.everything thing when fine and the starting video can play but after the part of the trailer,the windows will pop out something like assetut of memory...
    this is not my ram not enuff space and my whole cpu is competible wit the game but some website told me tat windows 7 cant play left for dead.it say the windows is not compatiable.pls help me thksss...thks much...

    Left 4 Dead...and Left 4 Dead 2 plays very well with Windows 7. (I am using Windows 7 x64 Ultimate... I would fully expect the x32 versions of Windows 7 to play even better, because STEAM and L4Dx are x32 programs).

    ?? Did you do an UPGRADE install from a previous version of Windows??? or did you do a complete CLEAN install?? There seem to be a fair number of people having "problems" after an Upgrade install.

    For now, try the following:
    uninstall Steam, reboot, then reinstall Steam.
    Defrag your harddrive(s).

    Take a screenshot of the error and post it here please.
    Not taking note of the error message is not going to help...the whole point of them is to help you identify whats wrong.

    ok i do something to the l4d already.and now the l4d jus quit after the intro video.
