    Antialiasing - Mode

What's the different between '' Enhance the application setting '' and '' Override any application setting '' ?

Antialiasing is a way to improve the look of an image by basically slightly blurring the edges (and thus reducing jagged edges).

As some applications, such as the Adobe suites have a better anti Aliasing algorithm than windows, these options allow you to control the way that antialiasing is applied Enhance checks the setting in the application and only uses the antialiasing if it's required, the Override ignores the application setting and applies the antialiasing.

The only way to really decide is to look at the main images you use and try both options with your applications and see which you prefer -

Note that this antialiasing is applied to the output image and does not change the original - Editors have options that can actually "burn" the changes into an image so that this option only has limited effect
