Team Fortress 2 Issues I seem to be having issues with Team Fortress 2 on Windows 7. I tried a lot of things, and none of them worked.
It seems that I can run TF2 just fine. However, when I actually connect to a server and get ready to play a game, it freezes a few seconds after connecting. Sometimes, I'm able to choose my class and get into the actual game, other times I can't get past the team selection screen. I eventually have to end the process.
Any ideas as to why this happens? Right now, my only way around it is to dual-boot with Windows XP, and run TF2 off of that, but that takes up a lot of hard drive space and it's annoying having to reboot just to play a game.

Ixolite, I have no idea what that means. Is that the build number? [/noob]
Sopolias Falst, I'm pretty sure I did. I'll back and check, though. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Home Premium Edition, 64-bit CPU Intel Core i5-2500k, 2nd generation Motherboard GIGABYTE GA-Z68-UD3H-B3 Memory 8 GB Corsair Graphics Card EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 Monitor(s) Displays LG Flatron Wide Screen Resolution 1440x900 Keyboard HP SK-2506 Mouse Microsoft Optical Wheel Mouse USB PSU Antec 620w Case BitFēnix Survivor Cooling BitFēnix Spectre (2) Hard Drives 1.5 TB Samsung Internet Speed 20 MB/s |

Strange, it works flawless over here.
It's probably a driver issue. What Ixolite means is that rolling back to a previous graphics card driver sometimes solves problems. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 (7600) CPU AMD Phenom II 945 X4 3ghz Motherboard Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 Memory 2x2GB Kingston DDR2 HyperX PC8500 Graphics Card GeForce GTX 275 Sound Card Line 6 TonePort UX1 / Realtek HiDef Audio Monitor(s) Displays BenQ FP93G X 19'' Screen Resolution 1280x1024 Keyboard Microsoft Sidewinder X6 Mouse Logitech G5 PSU ACE RawDeal Plus 620W Cooling Big fan on side of case Hard Drives WD Caviar Blue 300gb Internet Speed 4mbps Other Info Old HDD and DVD drive. -Press Windows button
-Type in "device manager"
-Hit enter
-Expand "Display adapters"
-Then right click your card, properties, driver, rollback.
If someone else could help you how to get old drivers to test it would be great. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 (7600) CPU AMD Phenom II 945 X4 3ghz Motherboard Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 Memory 2x2GB Kingston DDR2 HyperX PC8500 Graphics Card GeForce GTX 275 Sound Card Line 6 TonePort UX1 / Realtek HiDef Audio Monitor(s) Displays BenQ FP93G X 19'' Screen Resolution 1280x1024 Keyboard Microsoft Sidewinder X6 Mouse Logitech G5 PSU ACE RawDeal Plus 620W Cooling Big fan on side of case Hard Drives WD Caviar Blue 300gb Internet Speed 4mbps Other Info Old HDD and DVD drive. I just clicked on the "Rollback Drivers" button, and it worked, even though I didn't have any older drivers installed previously.
