    timing out and extreme delays

In the last few weeks my gaming experience has gone hell. I have been playing Aion, WoW and recently installed Diablo 2. When I tried running Diablo two I keep timing out and have a huge hang up that drops me into the chat area of the game. I tired there tech support... not able to fix it.
I tired my isp (att uverse) not able to fix it.

I figured it was isolated to Diablo2 since I had been playing WoW and Aion without a problem. I went back to other games and started experiencing the same problem. I get dropped from the games in 30 sec to about 5 minutes.

surfing the web has being an extreme pain. pages dont load and ofter require several refreshes before the page loads. I have not added any programs to my computer my only guess is an automatic update changed something.

The only suggestion that has had some effect is If I run msconfig and disable all in startup. This seems to clean up alot of the problem but I lose everything else (virus software ext.) this stuff was all working a few weeks ago.. any suggestions or help??

    Hi.

Update your video card and chipset drivers to latest.

In the start menu search box, type system information. Hit enter. On the screen that pops up, ctrl+s.

Rar or zip the saved file and attach to a post using the paperclip above where you type.

I'll have a look at it for you.

Go to the start menu, all programs then startup folder. Delete Logitech Vid, PlayNC Launcher and Logitech Product Registration.

Then open an elevated command prompt and run these commands by copying/pasting, then hit enter after each line (you may have to Google for the commands to do for a x64 system, instead - follow this post instead of the commands below, if needed):

    “%PROGRAMFILES%\Bonjour\mDNSResponder.exe” -remove

    regsvr32 /u “%PROGRAMFILES%\Bonjour\mdnsNSP.dll”

Then, go to the start menu search box and type services.msc, hit enter. Disable NVIDIA Stereoscopic 3D service.

Reboot the computer and then go to the Bonjour folder in Program Files and delete it.

After making these changes, let us know how it goes. If you need further help, post a new system information .rar just like you did before.

    ok

Ok i removed the files you suggested from startup and then removed bonjour (I get a warning message that it need that program to play something when I plug in my iphone but it did not seem to stop the sync) I disabled the 3d nvidia

The games seem to keep bogging up still. The graphics on Aion seems alot different and hung up a bit but seem playable.

internet still hangs sometimes is really quick and others has to be refreshed several times before it decides to go.

The PlayNC Launcher is still in the startup folder, so get rid of that.

Install the latest chipset drivers from here.

If you don't use it or don't know what it is even, disable the Offline Files service using services.msc

If these things still don't help, I'd completely uninstall McAfee as a test to see how it goes. If you leave McAfee, then disable the Windows Firewall service using services.msc (No need for both.)

You could also try disabling the Seaport service and Windows Search service.

    i installed the drivers,
disabled offline files. removed mcafee software tried the other thing.. and it is all the same result.
I keep getting dropped. and the internet keeps pausing and or not going.
I am having trouble now even getting the web page to load that would allow me to reinstall my internet software.
