Thanks for the idea, but that app is more beneficial for lower specced machines where resources are an issue. Unfortunately I doubt it will help with mine.

Back on topic, for continued research purposes - I'm also currently playing through:

Red Faction Guerrilla
GTA IV
Star Wars : Force Unleashed (still capped at 30 fps after a patch - )
NFS Shift
Batman AA

There's also a couple like Arma 2 that I gave up on until some serious patching is done. It's a dog under Vista / Seven.
Dude, Red Faction: Guerrilla rocks!

Havok did a very fine job with it's physics engine. Just unreal.

For me:

- Borderlands
- L4D2
- Red Faction: Guerrilla

I also made the huge mistake of getting MW2 (via Steam). Bad bad game.

Feels just like COD4 and the MP is just atrocious.

Well I bought both Dragaon Age: Origins and Borderlands and right now I'm obsessed with Borderlands. This game just makes you want to play on and on. Great game in single player mode

Once I finish round one of Borderlands I'll move on to Dragon Age.

I heard Borderlands was a little 'meh' in SP. I'll have to give this another look.

I just finished Borderlands recently before picking up Dragon Age. It's a good game, but it does start to become repetitive later in the game.

Dragon Age absolutely rocks, but I absolutely loath the long wait times between areas. The game's performance seems to degrade the longer I play it. After an hour or two of playing different areas take a ridiculous amount of time to load and the play becomes choppy. I don't have an explanation for this as my processor and graphics card aren't overloaded or overheating.

I did just get Modern Warfare 2, but haven't cracked it open yet. Some others I continue to play are:

Starcraft (12 years later...still going)
Team Fortress 2
Left4Dead
Batman: Arkham Asylum <-- incredible game!
Plants v.s. Zombies
World of Goo

I want to get L4D2, but I'll wait until I'm through Dragon Age and have tackled MW2.
