trying to get to grips with The Witcher - combat's tough..!!

Ahhhhh, The Witcher!

At first try I did not like this game.

However, when I went back to it, it started to grow on me.

It took me a bit to get the hang of the combat and Alchemy system in the game, but once you start getting the hang of it it'll all fall into place quite quickly.

My only complaint about the The Witcher is the lack of Variety in NPCs.
It seems they had like 5 or 6 NPC models and just recycled them over and over (with the exception of main characters)
That started getting old fast.

But beyond that gripe, excellent game IMO :)
I would certainly still recommend it.

Dragon Age is such a wonderful game.

I am patiently awaiting my Pre-Ordered DAO 2 to be here in March. :)

I just hope the changes they make are for the better, and they do not sacrifice all the elements that made the game great, or dumb it down to much.

From what I can see, that's exactly what's gonna happen, so I'm not getting my hopes up for nothing (like I did with the new MOH and was then left confused watching the credits, lol).

Don't you just shiver at the thought of replaying the Tower of Magi quest? That's what always keeps me from reinstalling DaO ^^ Also, I haven't tried the Awakening, is it a stand-alone campaign or must I replay the original to access it?

Um... Shiver? No, of course not. Why would I? Were it not so boring because of the repetition I might think something more of it than just... good. The sidequests were a bigger pain in my rearend than the Fade itself, though.

Shiver... Nope, definitely not. Then again, maybe that's just because I am 24 and have played through much more terrifying things than a few (quite fleshy) demons.

Actually, now that I've played through all of it again, I must confess that the game is annoying (like most RPGs tend to be, lol). I will not play DAO/DAA for a long, long time again.

I started playing Garry's Mod today. Had loads of fun. Then I got wire mod, and had even more. It's incredible ^^ Me and a pal started building fortresses with a melon in each, and made the other destroy it. (no cheats ofc). We made some crazy traps with wiremod :) Think falling logs, rotating blades, crashing ceiling, falling floors, surprise fast zombie attacks. Can't wait to play again.

Let's just start by saying this computer is a bit of a hodge-podge machine. Hardly any of its parts are standard these days, ever since i got it I've tweaked and tuned it into something that while its not as powerful as other computers it will certainly catch your attention and is rather memorable, hopefully not for the wrong reasons.
finished for need for speed hot pursuit... but, my fav, are F1 2010 and The Sims Ambition.....:D:D

Currently, struggling, playing Metro 2033, its bloody hard, especially as i am trying to be a stealthy as possible.

All in all though, fantastic game with DX11 turned on, though only running on high settings as very high settings crippled my GTX 470 with my 275 as Physx.

Great game though.
