Well the first took me a bit to get in to. The first mission doesn't do the rest of the game justice. After the first mission, the story really begins to pick up fast. It's not hard to get everyone's loyalty in ME2 either. Just do all their missions, and to keep Miranda's or Jack's loyalty, you just need enough paragon/renegade points to keep their loyalty when both are fighting.
Me2 was an excellent game, no argument.
But I prefered ME1 personally.
More depth to it IMHO.
You guys should try Battle of the Immortals. Its pretty great !
Lately it's been Battlefield Bad Company2, but I've been through Crysis wars over 60 times Delta level. I need to get more games.
I just recently played through Deus Ex again and am looking for other games to pass the time.
