i never got into any of the stalker games either - i wanted to, i liked the idea - but they just didn't grab me in the same way as say fallout 3 or borderlands did...maybe it was just my hardware, i dunno...
Any time I mention the buggiest game I've ever played two games come to mind - Cryostasis (only optimized for NVidia), and.... drum roll please...... STALKER. Only made it through a quarter of the game before shelving it to never grace my system again - bugs galore - performance and gameplay. Nice graphics though.

BTW..... I consider Fallout New Vegas bordering on the edge of STALKER buggy - Discuss Fallout: New Vegas

I do like New Vegas, but Ive noticed that when I have the urge to play Fallout:

More often than not I find myself in the DC Wasteland.

    I guess that says something.

Ya stalker games are buggy- even the said masterpiece cop has its probs.

People like what they like. I tried to speak up for them- no anger here if folks do not like or care to play them. Lawd knows I have pulled out hair over them fo3 too.. I like them both.

I more wish we all had some same games we liked and can play together..

Any way I need to wake a lil more then I am playing something..

My last playing fo3 a few weeks ago I was at point outlook all day. Its more I only been in the dlc's 1x- just went back to spend more time see if missed anything found the latter down and mission get soil samples or something- did the moon shine mission is what I was doing at first.. I never did that tournament type deal either fight the ghouls it cost like 1000 caps or something is why I did not do it - not that I do not have the caps- I plan to get back to it. Which I want to go back to a few other dlc's too..

Ya I love the dc wastes also- still have tons of places to find or go back to and side missions. Just saving it all its not like it is going any place or I am going to delete the game. I am glad I got the goty tho 25 bucks steam no brainer..

The rednecks in po trip me out- ha ha will beat ya down too- they are funny.. I am a lil sad the space ship locks you out from a lot of it. But least you can go and get some ammo what ever.. I plan to spend lots more time at the pitt too.

I have lots of places in the wastes I went to the location to get the icons on the map for fast travel but never went in the buildings etc- I have forgotten which many of them are now tho- So I have tons of play yet in fo3. Looks and runs great- can get odd some times or freeze but not often any more after the multi core fix.

I am not a vats guy but it can be fun too- I like how it goes slo mo and close up makes some nice vids what ever and into nice animated gifs. I enjoy my videos screens and ag's.

1 of my most loved items is my retail collectors ed lunch box it hold all my game dics I play etc- folks talk about it when they see it and think its cool- like the bobble head too..

    FO3 Its unique its cool..

    Hydrophobia Prophecy

    Currently playing Hydrophobia Prophecy

It's actaully a rehash of a game called Hydrophobia Pure that was originally released to 360.

The developers Dark Energy Digital fixed a lot of stuff, added stuff, and improved upon the game and re-released it to PSN and PC through Steam.

[It] ncludes upgraded graphics, brand new gameplay mechanics, exclusive new levels, a reworked back story, a dramatic new ending, recast voice acting and much, much more. The long list of new features and enhancements is also augmented by changes Dark Energy have made in response to data gathered from the Hydrophobia Listening Post where players voted and commented on the features of Hydrophobia Pure.
Anyway it can (only) be had through Steam for 11.99 - Hydrophobia: Prophecy on Steam

    Thoughts thus far......

Graphics are OK, nothing to write home about, in fact I'd say they're a tad bland.

Game play is nice though - quite a fair bit of puzzles, a little action, plenty of water, and lots of swimming.

The view is third person perspective - (Mass Effect, Fallout 3, Dead Space)

Performance wise I was getting some lag and found I had to downgrade both Character Shadows, and Shadows to medium. Still have slight lag, but not as bad as it was on High.

Anyway I was bored and figured I'd spend 12 bucks on a newly released game as curiousity got the best of me about the game. So far it's not a wasted 12 bucks :)

If you want to know more check Hydrophobia Prophecy and make sure you read the comments as the developers of the game posts comments and answers questions.

Oh..... one more thing about this game is that you can actaully give feedback on the game while playing. Just hit Esc bring up Options, Feedback, choose a catagory and click up or down to approve/disapprove.

I gotta give a big plus to these guys for trying to please their audience with such a feature.

    That's it for now.

    Thanks Sygnus!

The video preview looked interesting, but wasnt too sure how it would actually end up playing.

I was interested in it, as I do like puzzle type games, so may just go ahead pick it up.

It's not a bad game for 12 bucks, Just don't expect ground breaking graphics. They're not horrid, but certainly not up to today's levels.

Anyways the game has a little Mirror's Edge story to it, as well as a little game play..... climbing and jumping.

Not sure how many Acts the game has but i'm in Act 2 now. Not a bad game thus far.
