x32 games on x64 Windows?
Is it possible through software to have x32 only games run on an x64 OS? Trying to get Wizardry: Prisoner of the Battles to run but it wants a 32-bit OS.

I'm running Crysis x86 on a x64 OS and it works just fine.
Shou, If your game is really old, and it came with a 16 bit installer then you have a problem. Windows 7 x64 will not run the 16 bit installer.
Some people (in these forums) have had some luck with these older games that utilized a 16 bit installer by simply dropping the game files directly into a specific folder to run the game out of. (The game was actually a x86, 32-bit, game, but it's installer was 16 bit).
I am not sure if this addresses the specific problem you are having or not, so I am just tossing it out there for your information. Hope it helps.

They SHOULD run fine, in theory. In practice, you will always have a few games tat are picky.
Also, I find some of these older 32-bit games have 16-bit installers which will not run. Blood 2 will run but you have to manually install it.
"x84 games will run just fine on a x64 machine" that's not true some game work only on 32 bit others work only on 64 bit, but most 32 will work on 64.
Check out the list on this link:

Hope that helped
