    Solved

Whenever I try to run "EN_Fallout_3_DLC", I get a memory leak problem. My RAM usage is at 97% with 3 gigs of RAM.

The only error message I get is this one.

Edit: Fixed the problem by extracting the files to a different location :)

    Hi Nick and welcome

Three gigs of ram on 64bit while gaming isnt a ton. First can you open task manager and see what processes are using the most ram and cpu. You could take a screen shot using snipping tool buil into win 7, and upload it to us.
then can you look in event viewer (type eventvwr in search) go to the windows logs>applications tab and look for errors (they have red in the left column) look for anything like app crash, the name of the game etc. when you find them look for the event ID, and course code and tell us what they are

I wasn't running any games. I'm trying to install the DLC for fallout 3 but it causes my RAM to be used up nearly all the way. The biggest process was explorer and that was only taking up 22k. No errors at the time of the problem in event viewer.

Hi ok Are you showing all processes in task manager? can you use the snipping tool (type snip in search) and make a screenshot of it and upload it to us? something like this

    thanks in advance

Alright but the memory leak is long gone now. The main problem is getting the DLC installer to actually run. I'm guessing it's a corrupted installer so I'll just try and get a different copy if that's the case.
