Windows 7: can't play civilization 4 or arkham asylum

i have arkham asylum i bought from my cousin. it doesnt seem to work. i install and it goes fine but when i try to play it says to insert disk. :l what do i do?

and i have a copied version of civilization 4. my dad just copied all his disks.
and it doesnt work.
is it because i'm running a 64 bit??

please help!!! X.X

More likely the game is copy protected. Game MFR's require the disk exactly for that reason. Even if the game is 32 bit it should still play unless copy protected
