The Suffering living up to its name
I know it's probably bad form to complain about a game that's free but, damn, I really want to finish this. I had to use an alternate computer which had Vista installed for a while, and during that period I played through a large chunk of the Suffering. I recently got my own computer back, which has Windows 7 x86 Home installed, and the game won't launch.
In the task manager it shows the process Suffering.exe but the game doesn't actually start. I read somewhere on this site to run it in administrator and Windows NT compatibility mode - didn't work. Tried every other combination I could think of to no avail. A lot of the Windows 7 compatibility lists I've read have said that this game should work, but I can't get it to. Any ideas, or does it actually not work?
