Call of Duty 4: Mordern Warfare2 Freezing

Hi,

After I play for a short time with low or high graphics, the game freeze and pc restart.

The first time, when game freeze, I tunr-off my pc, cuz I w8 for 5 minutes to any reason, but nothing, so, I turn off in button, when PC back, anyone programs work, AutoCAD, AVG, Lineage2, nothing work, the problem was in Microsoft Visual C++.

I format my computer again, and install all programs ans drives to the last version.

When I play again COD4 MW2, pc freeze again. So I resolve test TimeShift and freeze too.

Lineage2 work fine in high graphics (only one time give me BSOD)

I play COD4 and TimeShift in Windows Vista, and work fine too, only in Seven dont work.

My configuration:
Windows 7 64x
AMD x64 +6000
ATI RADEON HD4850 512mb 256bits
2 gb ram DDR2 800MHZ
ASUS M2N-E SLI

Any sollution? or somebody know about a new "update" from Windows 7 for fix this problem? cuz I googled and see many peoples with this problems.

Possible solutios or work-arounds...

Outdated or Corrupt Video & Audio drivers... download latest drivers from manufacturer's website... copy to a safe location... uninstall drivers & restart... install fresh new/lastest version drivers... update your win 7 with all High-Priority updates... DO NOT download drivers from Windows Update.

I install the last drivers for Video, and make all uptades, but not for audio drivers, cuz my motherboard Asus M2N-E SLI dont have drivers for win 7 (only generic). I see on the Asus's forum, they said: "Asus and C-media dont make any new drivers for this motherboard.. cuz is a old motherboard... only Microsoft can make new drivers, so buy a new motherboard or a new audio card".

And I remember, all times the game freeze, is a scenes with conversation in-game.

Microsoft can make a new driver for this motherboard? or I need buy a new audio card?

first of all sir. Call of Duty 4 is NOT Modern Warfare 2. its just Modern Warfare you made this mistake a couple of times in your post !!

Coldbloded, while you are right, how post positive or how does this help his problem?

Go to ATI's website and download the video driver for your card & OS.
