    Modern Warfare 2 Display Problems

    Hi,
During mp game play on modern warfare 2 the walls with suddenly turn colors as well as everything else (gun, site, bushes, everything). It will also just freeze in a game, so i will have to ctrl + alt + del then click cancel and go back to the game and it will work, also that will fix my color problem.

I have been talking with Microsoft support on this for a while, seems like there taking me in circles. We have updated drivers, went to older drivers, went to new drivers, checked for problems on the pc itself. ( Drivers for graphics card ) Tried compatibility mode.

I had a high RAM problem to after installing the new drivers for the graphics card, after going back to the old driver my ram is back to normal, but today we did a clean uninstall of the drivers for the graphics card and put the new one back on, now again im having a problem with high RAM.

I have recorded some video of it acting up also.

    Anyone have an idea?

    Thanks

Please post a picture here, you can do that by clicking the attachment button in the upper corner of the reply page. The microsoft support people are usually idiots, so dont count on them.

I just snipped an image of a video i recorded.

Just had a problem playing the game. It froze, so i went to task manager and my RAM was 3.55gb out of 4 with the game running. So i ended the game and it went down to 3.11gb. So i tried a restart to clean the RAM, it froze during the shut down. So i had to hold the power button to shut it down. After it rebooted it was at 1gb.

I think im going back to the old drivers for the graphics card.

    Thanks

Maybe your card is overheating? What are your temps during gameplay?

Those hardware specs are pretty low - have you reduced the detail for the game? What installed apps do you have? What antivirus? What runs at startup in the msconfig tab?

I dont think its a overheating issue. And Frostmourne is right, you have low specs. Does the game lagg? If not, Your Graphics card is probably busted.

Nope, i never reduced the display detail. I got Microsoft security essentials.
I attached some pictures, this is making me sick.

The game rarely lags, if it does everyone playing the game has the same problem, its with the host. But it does lag when my ram usage is at 3.89gb.
I'm thinking the same thing. Im going to send the graphics card back and get a better one.

    Thanks
