    Rise of legends "msmxl 4.0 is not installed properly"?


    I got this error but don't know how to fix it...can someone help,

    I have xp, windows 7 and three partitions, One for xp, one for 7 and one for media/games....
    i installed it to the third one so i dont have to install it again since i dont have the cd,
    in short i only have the program files and they work on xp....thats what makes me wonder....

    Neither, i installed it on xp but since then i've reinstalled a few times...

    So what's the Systems status at the moment, has it changed since the OP?

    And your trying to run the game you've installed through XP, on Windows 7? and you get this error?

    Sounding like it's looking for registry files, but since it's running from W7 and not XP, that might be the case.

    Thanx for the help but i figured out the solution, i downloaded MSXML 4 service pack 2 and it works now.
