you may have to experiment a bit - try it compatibility mode..

    - always remember, if at first you don't succeed, etc, etc..

if you do eventually find success, don't forget to share your "secret" with others here on the forum..

    Hi formyhunny,

I checked for NHL 2001 at the Windows 7 Compatibility Center, but the only search result for "NHL" was NHL 09... 2001 is probably something they just haven't officially tested yet. I'd give it a try, run it under Compatibility Mode (or XP Mode if you have Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate), and then come back and let us know :) Good luck!

I got NHL 2001 working by just doing a regular installation and I ran it regularly without compatibility mode

Awesome, thanks for letting us know! Isn't it great when stuff just works how you want it to?

If you wanted to be really cool and helpful, you could suggest NHL 2001 now be added to the Compatibility Center database: Please submit feedback for the Windows 7 Compatibility Center

Enjoy the game, and enjoy Windows 7 :)

    NHL 2001 Windows 7

I can't get it to work unless I put it in Windows XP compatibility mode, but even then when the game starts the mouse does not detect.

Does anyone know how to make this work?
